Passenger Terms of Service & Cancellation Policy

By booking and using Ghost Sedan Transportation services, all passengers agree to the following terms, designed to ensure safety, comfort, and professionalism for riders and drivers.

1. Booking & Confirmation

A ride is confirmed once you receive a booking email or text. Please check your pickup time and location. If anything needs to be updated, contact us as soon as possible.

2. Health & Safety Requirements

  • Passengers who show signs of illness (such as coughing, sneezing, fever, or respiratory symptoms) must wear a mask inside the vehicle.

  • Ghost Sedan may refuse service to anyone visibly ill who declines to wear a mask.

  • Seat belts must be worn at all times while the vehicle is moving.

  • Passengers must follow all safety instructions from the driver.

3. Conduct Expectations

All passengers are expected to behave respectfully:

  • No foul, obscene, racist, sexist, or offensive language.

  • No aggressive, threatening, or confrontational behavior.

  • The driver may end a trip immediately if they feel unsafe or if a passenger violates conduct rules. The full fare will be charged.

Tolerance for Sexual Harassment:

  • Sexual harassment of any kind toward drivers, staff, or other passengers is strictly prohibited. This includes unwanted comments, gestures, advances, or physical contact. Violations may result in service termination and possible reporting to law enforcement.

4. Smoking, Eating & Cleanliness

  • Smoking, vaping, drug use, and e-cigarettes are not allowed inside any vehicle.

  • Eating inside the vehicle is not allowed to maintain cleanliness.

  • Please take all belongings and trash when exiting.

Cleaning & Damage Fees

Cleaning or repair fees may apply for:

  • Spills or stains

  • Excessive dirt

  • Smoking in the vehicle

  • Damage caused by passengers or their belongings

Fees vary based on the level of cleaning or repair required.

5. Cancellation Policy

Standard Rides

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the fare.

  • No-shows are charged 100%.

Airport Rides

  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours are charged 50%.

  • No-shows are charged 100%.

6. Wait Time Policy

  • Standard pickups include a 20-minute grace period. After that, wait time may be billed in 20-minute increments.

  • For airport pickups, we monitor flight arrivals and include:

    • 30 minutes grace for domestic flights

    • 45 minutes grace for international flights

7. Service Limitations

Service may be delayed or cancelled due to factors beyond our control such as severe weather, accidents, emergencies, or road closures. We will notify you as soon as possible if changes occur.

8. Lost & Found

If you leave an item in the vehicle, contact us as soon as you can. We will try to locate it, but we cannot guarantee recovery or accept liability for lost items.

9. Payments & Receipts

Payments are processed securely. A receipt will be emailed or texted after each trip. Tips are optional but appreciated.

10. Liability for Damage

Any damage to the vehicle caused by the passenger or their belongings is the financial responsibility of the passenger.

11. Fares Subject to Change

Our fares may change from time to time based on operating costs such as fuel, insurance, and labor. Once your reservation is confirmed, the quoted fare will be honored unless your trip details change or additional services are requested. We’re always transparent about pricing and will communicate any adjustments clearly in advance.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By booking through this website or any Ghost Sedan reservation channel, passengers agree to all terms above. Violations may result in immediate termination of the ride without refund and denial of future service.

FAQs

  • Zelle is our preferred payment method and has no transaction fees. We also accept major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Additional options include Venmo, PayPal, ApplePay and Cash App

  • Gratuities are not included in the quoted fare. Tipping is always optional but greatly appreciated for excellent service. Gratuities may be given directly to the driver or added to your final payment.

  • Cancellations made with at least 48 hours’ notice are fully refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows and same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

  • We aim to be fully transparent and will always communicate any additional charges in advance whenever possible. Certain costs are not included in the base fare and may be added when applicable. These include:

    • Toll roads (tolls vary; optional; opt-in required)

    • Airport curbside pickups ($20)

    • Airport meet & greets in terminal ($30)

    • Parking fees (varies)

    • Additional wait time beyond the complimentary grace period ($20 per each 20 minutes)

    • Driver gratuity (optional)
